Rail Pass Management System using PHP and MySQL
The Railway Pass Management system(developed using PHP and MySQL) is a web-based technology that will manage the records of the pass which is issued by administration and also help to provide online railway passes to people who need to travel daily. Railway Pass Management System Project is helpful to railway administration by reducing the paperwork, and time consumption and making the process of getting a railway pass as simple and fast.

Project Modules
Railway Pass Management system we use PHP and MySQL database. This is the project which keeps records of the pass which is issue by administrative. Railway Pass Management system has two modules i.e. admin and user.
Admin
Dashboard: In this sections, admin can briefly view the total number of categories and how many passes will be generated in one day, yesterdays and last seven’s days
Category: In this section, admin can manage the category (add/update).
Passes: In this section, admin can manage pass(add/update/take a print pass).
Pages: In this section, admin can update about us and contact us pages.
Enquiry: In this section, admin read the enquiries which are send by users.
Reports: In this section admin can generate pass reports between two dates.
Search: In this section, admin can search a particular pass-by-pass number.
Admin can also update his profile, change the password and recover the password.
User
- Home Page: User can visit the home page.
- View Pass: User can view his/her pass and take a print with the help of their Pass Number.
- About Us: User sees the details of the .website administrator.
- Contact Us: User can contact the website administrator.
Note: In this project MD5 encryption method used.

How to run the Rail Pass Management System (rpms) Project
1. Download the zip file
2. Extract the file and copy rpms folder
3.Paste inside root directory(for xampp xampp/htdocs, for wamp wamp/www, for lamp var/www/HTML)
4.Open PHPMyAdmin (http://localhost/phpmyadmin)
5. Create a database with the name rpmsdb
6. Import rpmsdb.sql file(given inside the zip package in the SQL file folder)
7. Run the script http://localhost/rpms
